How it works

How points are awarded

Every correct answer earns points. A wrong answer or running out of time earns 0.

• +100 base. You get this for any correct answer.
• Up to +50 for speed. You have 20 seconds per question (30 when there is code to read). The faster you answer, the bigger the bonus. Right away is the full +50, and at the last second it is +0.
• Up to +50 for a combo. Each correct answer in a row adds +10 to the next one, until it reaches +50 on the 6th correct answer in a row. One wrong answer resets it.

Example: your 3rd correct answer in a row, answered at the halfway point of the timer: 100 + 25 + 20 = 145 points.

The most one question can give is 200. The points from your 10 answers add up to your score for the day.

XP and levels

The points you score are also added to your XP, which never goes down. Collect XP to level up:

Streaks

Play on consecutive days to build a streak 🔥. Miss a day and it starts again from 1. Streaks are for bragging rights and do not change your points.

Leaderboards

• Today: ranked by your score for today's challenge.
• This week: your scores added up from Monday to today.
• All time: ranked by total XP.
