The service
DevQuiz Pro is a free daily quiz for developers, run by Mikrosell Systems in Nairobi, Kenya. It is a hobby project, provided as is, and we may change it or stop it at any time.
Who can play
You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, play with a parent or guardian's permission. Prizes (see below) are only for people aged 18 or over.
Your account
- You sign in with an email address to play. One person, one account.
- Keep your player code and email access private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Pick a username that is not offensive, does not impersonate someone else, and does not contain personal details. We can change or remove names that break this.
- You can ask us to delete your account any time at company@mikrosell.com.
Fair play
The leaderboards only mean something if everyone plays fairly. You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, or any automation to answer or to create accounts;
- look up the questions or answers during a round with other people's help, or share answers publicly while a round is running;
- use several accounts to gain an advantage, or exploit bugs (please report them to us instead);
- attack, overload, or try to break into the service.
We can remove scores, ban players, and reset rankings where we find cheating or abuse.
Questions and content
Questions and explanations are written for learning and fun. We do our best to be accurate, but we do not guarantee that every answer is correct or complete, and the quiz is not professional training or advice. If you spot a mistake, email company@mikrosell.com. The questions, design and code of the site belong to us or our licensors. Please do not copy or republish them in bulk.
Leaderboards and sharing
Your username (or X handle), scores, rank, streak and level are shown publicly, and the result links you share are visible to anyone who has the link. The privacy policy has the details.
Weekly prizes
- Prizes are awarded on skill: for example the most points over a Monday to Sunday week (UTC), or the longest streak. Ties are broken by the faster total answer time. No purchase or payment is needed to take part.
- Prizes may be a shout-out, a badge, or gifts supplied by sponsors. Their kind and value can change from week to week, and where a prize comes from a sponsor, we say so. Unless a prize is described otherwise, it has no cash value and cannot be exchanged.
- Winners must be 18 or over and reachable, for example through an email address on their account or an X handle. If we cannot reach a winner within a reasonable time, we may award the prize to someone else.
- We can disqualify anyone who breaks the fair play rules, and our decision on winners is final.
Sponsors and links
Sponsored content is labelled. We are not responsible for sponsors' products, offers, or websites, or for anything you do after following a link. Sponsors do not get your personal data from us.
Availability and liability
We try to keep the site running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, scores or streaks, arising from using the service. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending things
You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. If we change them in a way that matters, we will update the date above. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
